This litter should produce sound, intelligent attractive performance Goldens, with out sacrificing health, or temperament. The puppies from this breeding will excel as a hunting companions, as competitors in hunt tests, agility, obedience, tracking and as Search & rescue dogs. They will have lots of bird drive and great water attitude. They should have good dispositions suitable for family life as pets, but they will have lots of energy so an active family would be best. All in a good looking package.

Kiowa’s Honey Bear

Bear is a handsome, rugged athletic dog in the long tradition of great dogs produced by Kiowa Kennels and Pat Sadler. He is line bred on the great “Ki” – FC/AFC Tigathoe’s Kiowa II, OS. Bear lived to 13.5 years old, which speaks to his longevity. Several of Bear‘s relatives have lived well into their teens as well adding to the longevity behind this pedigree.
According to Pat, he is a hard driving dog, a good marker with a great water attitude. She also commented that when she was still training him at age 11 he was running as hard and fast as when he was running in hunt tests. He came back to Pat from a previous owner, who simply got out of dogs, this cutting his field career short.
Bear is 75 lbs, with good bone, pigment and overall structure, and even at age 12.5 is a powerful dog. Bear and his relatives have proven themselves in hunt test and field trial competitions. Although, still young Bear‘s offspring are starting their careers in hunt tests, agility, obedience, rally, tracking and Flyball.

Snapshot carries wonderful genes from FC-AFC Tigathoe’s Kiowa II FDHF OS and Pine Run’s Top Gun CD MH WCX *** OS.
Snapshot is still a lean, muscular youngster at the age of two. She is balanced front and rear, and her dark brown eyes give her a kindly expression … with just a hint of mischief. Snap measures 22.5″ tall and 55 lbs.
In the field, Snapshot is a terrifically accurate marker with remarkable memory. Her love of water work is evident with her spectacular, flying water entry.
Snapshot got the “thinker” genes of her sire, Echo. She learns quickly, and then wants to do things just right. Yet she loves to work. She does not like to be left behind when the other dogs are training.
This year Snapshot quickly finished her requirements to earn her CD, her RN and her AKC MACH earning 14 double QQs this year alone before taking time off for this litter. She also qualified for the 2011 AKC National Agility Trial in Lexington, Virginia. Snapshot has also been successful in USDAA earning her MAD and coming just one Master Gambler short of completing her ADCH (next year!).
