“Winston is a confident, bold, and focused dog, very much a thinker and problem solver; a biddable dog who is a loyal companion ready for any sport with exceptional work ethic and heart.
He stands 22” tall and weighs 58 lbs of lean muscle; he has a wash-and-wear coat and had lovely comments and scores from his CCA. Winston has a low COI of 1.62% (6 generations. He is a super healthy dog, with no known ailments, and at just shy of 9 years old, he has no intention of slowing down! He would love to do more agility if I had the time.
Around the house he is a fun-loving, goofy Golden that always has to carry a toy or show in his mouth, he gets along well with other people, dogs, and puppies. At the end of the day, he will snuggle right up on the sofa with me. He lives at home with his intact son and buddy, Flyte.
He earned his Barn Hunt RATCH at 11 months and his NACSW NW3Elite at 2 years old.
He loves retrieving, is a solid marker in the field with a good memory, and is a strong swimmer, achieving both his MH and HRCH titles.
In the obedience ring, he is a lovely heeling dog and accurate worker earning his OTCH12, OGM, and UDX15 to date. In 2023 Winston was the #2 OTCh Golden, #2 HIT Golden, the #1 HC Golden, and the #2 Toby Trigger Golden, plus he earned 5 perfect 200 scores. He has been invited to the National Obedience Championship for the last 5 years, plus been awarded the GRCA “Otch Topbrass Ric O Shay Barty WCX Trophy for 2021 and 2022.”
