Cash, (Kiowa’s Honey Bear x Pine Run’s Wingin’ It OA AXJ NJP WC OD) went hunting with Lora’s dad today and even with little or not field training experience brought back eleven ducks (see photo). Cash and Lora live on a 100 acre farm with a nice sized pond…the perfect haven for waterfowl both ducks and geese. This morning Lora’s dad and some buddies set up early to shoot some ducks, but they seemed to have forgotten the retriever (sounds like many a hunt test scenario, LOL). No worries, when Cash heard the guns and he proceeded to convinced Lora he need to join in the fun. Off they went.
A few of the ducks had fallen in the pond even before Cash and Lora had made the short walk to the pond, but Cash had not problem locating the ducks and retrieving for the hunters. Cash did a nice job for pretty much having very little training for the field, it was all natural talent. All in all he helped the hunters bring in 11 ducks!
What a good boy Cashman is.
