Cuz (Kiowa’s Honey Bear X Flyte), UCDX- Pine Run’s Kiowa On The Right Track CDX NAJ TDX, … baby sister to Trey and Cash-man) earned her TDX today (November 14, 2010) at the Potomac GRC test.
Eventually, there were 7 Goldens & one Tervuren tracking today. The Terv was an alternate. The test secretary told Craig, Cuz’s handler/owner that he got the toughest track … and Cuz was the only dog to pass today of either the TD or TDX entries.
They had to wait about an hour and a half before starting their track. By then, Cuz was barking at Craig with impatience, and dragged him to the starting flag. It was a challenging track where he had to re-scent Cuz twice during the track, and she did a totally awesome job of figuring out some tough sections of the track, up and down hillsides, along woods, through woods, overshooting the last turn & discovering her error to complete the last leg to success. A couple of the TDX dogs entered already had their VST title, so there were absolutely a group of very competent dogs entered today.
