Another great weekend in USDAA for Nikon, Snapshot and Trey!
We had beautiful weather for the three day trial — sunny for the most part but cool and bit windy, of course the dogs loved it.
On Friday, Nikon paired up with his niece Hatrick (aka Hattie) for another Master Pairs relay Q. Snapshot earned the last Q master standard she needed for her SACH (Standard Agility Championship), yahoo! She had a very nice Master Gamblers class and got the tough gamble but was overtime, darn.
Trey took first place with a Q in his advanced Snooker class, but really “showed off” in his first Master standard class by taking first place beating his uncle Nikon who took second and Snapshot who placed third. Their times were only about a second apart – Trey (47.86 secs), Nikon (48.94 secs) and Snapshot (49.81 secs)!! Way to go baby dog!
Saturday was bright and cool, Nikon earned his Relay Championship Bronze today and took 3rd place running with Yankee, the BC. Snapshot got her fourth Master Gamblers Q with a 4th place, now we’re sitting needing just that one Master Gamblers leg for her ADCH, which I guess will have to wait until next year. Trey earned his Adv pairs leg he needed for his AAD title, but reminded me he is still young in his Master Standard class. Silly boy!
Sunday was the last day at Riverside…Nikon earned his Jumpers Championship -Bronze with a 3rd place (he just needs 2 M Stnd Q for his Bronze ADCH). Snapshot had a very nice Master Snooker Q with a first place. Trey Q’d in Master Standard with a first place and Adv Jumpers with a first place as well.
We’re done running in USDAA for a while so those big titles will have to wait until next year. But all in all a pretty good run over the past couple weeks in USDAA, so I can’t complain.
Have I said how much I love running my dogs lately even with their individual challenges? Well I do.
