2010 Website Redesign

Thanks to the the awesome design and programming skills of Kris Hocker the website has a whole new look with tons of new features. Here’s just a few of the new/updated features:

improved photo galleries
video galleries added
current, past and co-bred dogs information pages
added/updated
resource page added
a Puppy blog
accomplishment section added listing past and current accomplishments
improved dogs we bred to section

November 1, 2009 — With all the “family” gathered for the Hudson Valley Golden Retriever Club’s all Golden Agility trial it was the perfect time to get a “family” photo. It was supposed to be Flyte and her “kids” but we also threw in Uncle Nikon for the fun.

The Ideal Golden Retriever

Found an interesting article written by James B Spencer on GunDogMag.com, The “Ideal” Golden Retriever: How do you find such an animal?. It is a well written article that expresses the split within the breed in a thoughtful and articulate way. His thoughts and “ideals” are something every Golden breeder should strive for in their program. As it says in the standard “Primarily a hunting dog.”
