Wow what a GREAT weekend in agility!

Saturday started with Nikon qualifying in Excellent JWW with a second place. Then Snapshot and her litter brother Zer (Echo x Flyte pups) both earned Q’s and they wound up 6th and 7th place overall in the 24″ excellent B jumpers class.

Then in the afternoon Trey earned his first AX leg with a second place. Nikon took a bad line to the dogwalk which caused him to bounce off of it because he had too much speed. Snapshot and Zer Q’d in standard with Zer taking 4th place but Snapshot was right behind him in 5th! So, in the end double Qs for both Snapshot and Zer on day one.

Sunday started out with “baby” Trey earning his second AX leg with a first place and he followed that up by earning his first AXJ leg with a second place. It was a day full of double Qs with Nikon double Q’ing with two second places, Snapshot double Q’ing with a third in Standard and a fourth in Jumpers, finally Zer double q’ing winding up 7th in standard and 5th in jumpers.

Also, heard from Lora that Cash earned his second AXJ leg with a placement with a time that would have also placed in the ex B class.

These Flyte kids are certainly showing their stuff. Congrats to all!

Awesome weekend for agility….

Trey earned both is OA and OAJ on Saturday, May 15th at the Providence Kennel Club trial in Smithfield, RI with a second and first place. Then on Sunday, he moved up to run with the big dogs and held his own with only a couple little bobbles but very nice runs overall.

Nikon had a great Saturday earning another double Q with a first and second place and then on Sunday he earned another Q in standard with a first place. He was on fire all his runs.

Snapshot had a nice jumpers taking first place in her class. Unfortunately, a little bobble in Standard kept us from Q’ing there too. Sunday, was the day…with Snapshot earning her 10th double Q with two first placements which also completed the last requirement she needed for her GRCA Agility Dog Hall of Fame title (ADHF). Yahoo!

On another front Zer and Grace were running at NEAT’s USDAA trial this weekend earning another Q and first place in both Masters pairs and Snooker. They also earned another Master jumpers Q on Sunday and another Steeplechase WIN to their belt!

Then today, Sunday May 16th, Cash and Lora earned their first Excellent A Jumpers with Weaves qualifer with a first place!

Great weekend all around.
