I In a repeat “photo finish” Nikon” (son of MACH Pine Run’s Kiowa Wild Rose “Rosie”) finished his MACH 2 exactly a year from finishing our MACH!! In perfect style he finished our MACH2 on the last day, of the last trial in our area of the year, which just happened to be hosted by my own club, the Yankee Golden Retriever Club.He went into the four-day trial needing 3 double Q’s to finish, in a repeat of our 2006 for his MACH, Nikon kept us holding our breath until the last day of the trial before earning that last double Q. Nikon finished with 6 placements out of his 7 Q’s during that last trial with 2 double placements

Flyte (daughter of MACH Pine Run’s Kiowa Wild Rose “Rosie”) earned her NA and NAJ titles on the first day of the trial but to keep up her confidence I kept her novice to finish the year. She continued to run very well earning Q’s in every class she ran for a total of 8 Q’s, and 3 second placements and 5 first placements. Flyte has come such a long way since she started in September when she had to say hello to the ringcrew or the judge, but now she does not seem to notice them including the large crowds at the Boston trial.
